After a year and a half long residence at the Libra Room (every Wed), The Amanda Tosoff Trio will be starting a special guest series. Guests will include local greats such as Brad Turner, Bill Coon, Steve Kaldestad, Dave Sikula, Chris Davis, Evan Arntzen and many more to come. See the schedule below for more info.

02/02/08 | Amanda Tosoff Quartet will be recording their second CD this May.
We just heard back from the Canada Council and they are funding our second cd to come out on Cellar Live records. www.cellarlive.com. It will be released around June or July. I'll let you know when the CD release will be.

01/07/07 | Amanda Tosoff Quartet wins 2007 CBC Galaxie Rising Star Award
The Amanda Tosoff Quartet was this year's winner of the CBC's Galaxie Rising Star Award, a $2000 cash prize awarded to an emerging young group performing at this year's Vancouver International Jazz Festival.

15/03/07 | Coastal Jazz and Blues Society presents ...
Coastal Jazz and Blues Society presented a concert at the Cellar Jazz Cafe, featuring the Amanda Tosoff Quartet. The quartet performed new original music to a sold out audience. This concert was the first performance of a three day tour that took the quartet to Victoria and Duncan B.C.

25/06/06 | The Amanda Tosoff Quartet releases "Still Life"
The Amanda Tosoff Quartet releases thier debut album: "Still Life" on the new label Cellar Live Futures. The band includes the young talents Amanda Tosoff on piano, Evan Arntzen on saxophone/clarinet, Sean Cronin on bass and Morgan Childs on drums. The band beautifully interprets the modern compositions of Tosoff and Cronin, as well as two haunting and lyrical songs composed by Antonio Carlos Jobim and Horace Silver.
